Elementary School Education for Starting Elementary school education focuses on the basic skills that students need in the early years as they study how to learn. Elementary school education is discovering the world of learning. In most cases, elementary school education students attend the school closest to their home. Children may start at elementary school education at any age between four and six years of age. Most children finish elementary school education at or around twelve years of age. Children in elementary school education are usually placed in classes with one teacher who will be primarily responsible for their education and welfare for that year.
