As parents, sometimes we worry. Are we already provided enough nutrition to our children? It is very necessary for them to grow. But children do not like the healthy food that we provide, because eating the healthy food they do not feel delicious. The best snack that we can give is fruit. But according to them; candy, burger, and other junk food is better than the fruit. Options for a snack, you can give to their cheese rolls, yoghurt, fruit, sandwiches or baked potatoes.
Little about the junk food
No food is actually called junk, because our bodies will absorb the important essence of food by the body. While the others will be discarded by our bodies. Fast food, fatty food, fizzy drink, candy, and chocolate is a delicious food we can eat for pleasure only. But not eaten many times and continue to. If we drink too many soft drinks and always eat fast food, we will be lack of vitamins and other food sources that are useful for our bodies. Vitamins are very useful for the body so that we can grow healthy and strong.
Junk Food for teenagers
Did you why more often teenagers have pimple. Pimple problems arise because of the hormone. Blotch is a problem for teenagers of the day. But did you know that junk food can cause you more quickly having pimples. Because junk food containing high fat.
Drinks have caffeine not good for teenagers. Because they can make you worry (a little tense and ‘hyper’). If you consume beverages that contain caffeine before bed, you will be awake throughout the night. As teenagers, they need enough sleep for a period of growth.
Advice if your kids are starving..
You can try some healthy food below:
- Rice cakes or oatcakes
- Fresh fruit or dried fruit
- Yoghurt
- Piece carrot or other vegetables
- Popcorn with plain taste
- Breakfast cereals
- Beans grilled or roasted
- A small piece sandwich, roll or Crackers with peanut butter or cheese
- Pasta, noodles or potato salad
- Water, milk or fruit juice
- A small piece of cheese and apples
And do not forget to keep drinking water enough. Water is very important for our bodies.
